This was submitted in 2013 for a $24,000+ (USD) proposal for a Drupal Web Design.
We propose to carry out the redesign of the Michigan ... website. We are committed to building a premiere site, designed for ease of use and innovative design that focuses on business as the main customer/audience. The site will also facilitate usage by visitors who may not understand how to find information and service information. We have a great deal of experience in website design, development, implementation and maintenance. Our goal for the site is to provide easy access to services; adapt to current and changing technology; and be used as a communications tool.
We propose starting with an analysis of the existing site and replace it with a stable installation of the Drupal Content Management System (version 7, and the most recent stable sub-version thereof). We will also install and configure appropriate supporting application modules and theming elements to satisfy the needs of Michigan ... in the spirit of the request-for-proposal.
Our development goal is to heighten user experience, allow for greater interactivity by the public and admins; allow for sophisticated reporting; make adding content very straightforward; allow for easy administration and a smooth path for the later addition of new functionality beyond the scope of this project.
The end product will be an aesthetically pleasing website that is cross browser compliant (IE7+, Firefox, Safari, Chrome). We will deploy only adaptive themes that will present a clear user experience via mobile phones, tablets and personal computers so that users can view the site on any device. The site will be more appealing to brand the content and build a stronger presence for Michigan ... in the region.
Our people will be pleased to offer content administration tutoring and continuing support. We can offer a range of training from basic content addition through to administration of the architectural elements of your site. We can also offer post-installation support beyond the initial training with renewable terms.
